Obituary for Troy Getz
Troy G. Getz, 61, of Ephrata, passed away at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital on Thursday, December 22, 2022.
He was born in Ephrata on June 12, 1961 to the late Joanne R. Getz and Eugene Getz.
In his younger years he worked at Ephrata Shoe Co. and Goodwill Industries. He enjoyed fishing, collecting baseball cards, and loved going on long walks. He also enjoyed watching The Shepherd's Chapel.
Surviving is his sister, Teresa, wife of Jay Yoder of Stevens.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy E. Getz.
Troy had a special bond with his mother. We are comforted in knowing that he is with her once more.
At Troy's request there will be no services.
