Obituary for Susan Beth Zang
Susan Beth Ley Zang, 79, of Akron, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.
Born in Wynnewood she graduated from Lower Marion High School. She received a degree in biology from Juniata College and from School of Medical Technology, Pennsylvania Hospital on 8th and Spruce Streets in Philadelphia. She started in the lab at Ephrata Hospital as a general medical technologist in 1968 and became head histologist before retiring in 2007.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Dick Zang.
If there is a rainbow bridge, I hope to see those from the past and to greet those arriving. Pray for world peace; that all people can learn to live together.
Services will be private at Mt. Zion Evangelical Cemetery.
