Obituary for Steve L. Cope
Steve L. Cope, 66, of Denver, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital.
He was born in Mayfield, Kentucky to the late B.C. and Linda Cope and was the husband of Carol (Toth) Cope, with whom he shared 10 years of marriage.
Steve worked as a bus mechanic and delivered parts for SEPTA for many years. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Steve is survived by three sons, Jeff, husband of Melanie Cope of Kentucky, Greg, husband of Monica Wiggins of Kentucky, and John, husband of Trista Mullin of Chester County; two daughters, Julie, wife of Steve Goodrich of Lancaster County and Gigina Terra of Chester County; 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Larry, husband of Paula Cope of Kentucky.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, from 6 to 8 pm at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver. Interment will be private.
