Bonnie,
Our prayers and thoughts for you and the family at this time. I went to high school with Steve for a couple of years. I live and grew up on a farm north of Manheim and did not know that he had moved to this area until I learned of his passing. As others have mentioned, I remember his broad smile and kind spirit. Soooo many memories! Steve was the person who introduced me to my late husband, Kenton in 1993. Some of my favorite memories are of snowmobiling on the streets in Hanover, spending weekends together with Steve and Bonnie and our young families, meeting at Dutch Wonderland and enjoying the day together watching our children riding rides.

Steve served as one of the groomsmen in our wedding and later served as a pallbearer for Kenton’s funeral.

I will always remember Steve as being a talented musician and someone who always had a smile on his face. His attention to detail was impressive. His family was his pride and joy.

I don’t know exactly how Heaven works, but I can only imagine the reunion Steve is experiencing with so many loved ones who have passed on to eternity before him as well as the joy of experiencing healing and wholeness as he meets Jesus. How beautiful Heaven must be. ❤️

What a dear Uncle who is very loved & will be greatly missed. I have hundreds of wonderful memories of him when we'd go visit my Grandparents, when Steve was still at home and up through the more current years. What fun we'd have. He was always joking, pranking or acting crazy. There was never a dull moment when with him. On his more serious notes, his singing & playing guitar was always a treat to hear. He was blessed with so much musical talent. Some of the more current memories were numerous times spent together for July 4th, having a cookout, riding dirt bikes, 4 wheelers & ending the day with an awesome display of fireworks and sometimes, homemade ice cream. These memories will be forever cherished. Bonnie, Broc, Abby & Braden, we're hurting with you, we love you and are here for you.
