Obituary for Stacey Owens-Behrens

Stacey Owens-Behrens, 49, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021, at home.

She was born in Joplin, Missouri to Michael D. Owens of Crocker, MO and the late Sharon (Koon) Owens.
Stacey grew up in a military family. She lived in several states as a child, and even overseas before settling in Ephrata, PA.

Stacey was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her children, watching movies, and listening to music. She was known to knit blankets, hats, or the occasional scarf. She also enjoyed scrapbooks and crafts. Stacey was handed the gift of baking and loved to bake cookies and banana bread for the kids to enjoy.

The last few years Stacey was an aid, providing home care for patients. She found joy in this, it was something that came incredibly naturally for Stacey after caring for and raising her seven children.

In addition to her father, Stacey is survived by her husband of 16 years, Christopher Behrens of Lancaster; seven children, Christian M. Wheeler, Elijah J. Wheeler, husband of Amanda, Ethan B. Wheeler, husband of Katie, Aidan H. M. Wheeler, Ewan L. Behrens, Hunter R. Behrens, and Lennon R. Behrens; two grandchildren, Paxton and Gwendolyn; two siblings, Chad Owens and Carly Owens and her fiancé, Greg Yarbrough of Ephrata

She was preceded in death by her sister, Melissa Owens.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
