Obituary for Scott Allan Sweigart

Scott Allan Sweigart, 55, of Denver, PA passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022.
He was born January 5, 1967 to the late Donna F. (Getz) Sweigart and Warren Sweigart.

Scott was a life-time resident of Denver and member of St. John's UCC, Denver and a graduate of Cocalico High School Class of '85.

An avid sports enthusiast, he coached football and soccer in the Cocalico youth programs, and enjoyed participating, cheering on his Ohio State Buckeyes, and supporting his daughter and family in their activities.

In addition to his father, Scott is survived by his loving daughter, Jayden, and his four sisters, Faith, wife of Dean Fetter, Hope, wife of Jerry Pfautz, Vicki, wife of Rick Hackman, and Bonnie companion of Brad Burkholder. Scott is also survived by his bonus daughters Kayla and Aly and was Pop to his special granddaughters. He was a loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Scott leaves a hole in the heart of many who called him “Friend”.

A viewing will be held Friday, October 7, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at St. John's UCC, 659 S. 4th Street, Denver, PA. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Bradley Haws officiating. Interment will take place in the Fairview Cemetery Annex, Denver.
