Obituary

Roxanne Rita Erb, 68, of Ephrata, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020, at home.

She was born in Sankertown to the late Cyril and Ritamae Adams and was the wife of Todd E. Erb with whom she would have celebrated 10 years of marriage on September 20th.

Roxanne worked for Staffing Service USA. She loved to cook, especially for others and "going up home" for the weekend or longer. She never liked camping; until she went and loved it. Then she would ask "when are we going camping again?!" She often volunteered for the Ephrata Lodge B.P.O. Elks #1933, where she was a member. She was also an auxiliary member of Ephrata Amvets Post #136 and Cocalico Valley Post #3376 VFW.

In addition to her husband, Roxanne is survived by a daughter, Crystal, wife of Todd Loose; four grandchildren, Tanyon, Charles Owen, Parker and Payton; three brothers, Barry Adams, Francis "Jim" Adams, Jerome Adams and a sister, Anne Gail Pisano.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Karen M. Adams Lynch O'Neill.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Ephrata Lodge B.P.O. Elks #1933, 170 Akron Road, Ephrata.

If desired, memorial contributions in Roxanne's memory may be made to Lung Cancer Research Foundation, 155 East 55th Street, Suite 6H, New York, NY 10022. Make check payable to Lung Cancer Research.

Arrangements by Stradling Funeral Homes, Inc., Akron/Ephrata.

I worked with Roxanne for several years at Staffing Service USA. My desk area was right next to hers. She was quiet and was such a hard worker and a determined worker. When I located at the second building, I did not see as much of Roxanne. She ALWAYS had a nice smile and a greeting for me when I visited her building. She is in my thoughts with many pleasant memories. I am so glad our paths crossed in our lifetime. Helen Ebersole

On behalf of our entire Staffing Service USA family we want to extend our love and sympathy to the entire family. Roxanne was full of life and touched all of us. She was part of our team for over 33 years and taught us all the meaning of Customer Service and to always be genuine. Roxanne was truly a "Shining Star" and because of that we wanted to do something in memory of Roxanne that will last forever................ We named a star in Roxanne's memory. It is called "Sweet Roxanne -- Shining Star". Crystal and Todd will get the coordinates of where the star is located in the Constellation. Roxanne is in our hearts forever!!!

Love, George, Lorie, Tami, Duane and the entire SSUSA Team.

Dearest Crystal, I was so sorry to hear of your Mom’s death. I have so many memories of all the times we spent together in Sankertown and in Ephrata. We always had a very special friendship and although we had not kept in touch over the last few years, I thought of her often. God gained another flower in his garden. You have my very deepest sympathy and my condolences to the Adams family.
Love and prayers
