Obituary for Robert C. Orth
Robert C. Orth, 82, of Reinholds, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Reading Hospital- Tower Health.
He was born in Reading to the late Harold and Catherine Orth and was the husband of the late Janet (White) Orth with whom she shared 23 years of marriage before her passing April 9th.
Robert worked for Sweigart's Floor Coverings and later retired from Dana Incorporated. He was a member of Reinholds Post #6759 VFW, Gauglersville Fire Company and Adamstown Rod and Gun Club. He loved swimming in the pool and casinos.
Robert is survived by three children, Lisa L., wife of Scott W. Black, Michael R. Orth, Steven Orth; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a sister, Shirley Reigner.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol A. Orth; two brothers and a sister.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022, from 6 to 8PM at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver. An additional viewing will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, from 10 to 11 AM at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, followed by funeral services at 11:00AM. Interment will take place in the Forest Hills Memorial Park.
