Obituary for Robert Eugene Krimes

Robert E. Krimes, 80, of Stevens, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at home.
He was born in Ephrata to the late Paul D. and Florence A. (Blantz) Krimes and was the husband of Doreen J. (Cammauf) Krimes, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage.
Robert was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Vietnam War. He worked as a truck driver for Ross Technology for 20 years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and recycling scrap metal.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Kelly F., wife of Duan Barr of Ephrata and Julie L., wife of Rick Carpenter of Denver; six grandchildren, Ryan A. Krimes, Kyle M. Carpenter, Kristen R. Carpenter, Anthony Barr, Nicholas Barr, and Zebulun Barr; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathryn, wife of Charles Elmer of Fort Myers, FL and Beatrice , wife of David Weaver of Mt. Airy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Douglas Krimes; two sisters, Verna Bollinger and Dorothy Auker.
Services are private at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
