Obituary for Robert W. Bausher
Robert Wayne "Bud" Bausher, 91, of Stevens, formerly of Shillington, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.
He was born in Norristown to the late Raymond and Catherine (Ziegler) Bausher and was the husband of the late Doris L. (Whitehead) Bausher.
Bud attended Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church. He was a 1950 graduate of Shillington High School where he was a multi-sport athlete. He was an avid golfer and achieved 21 holes-in-one during his many rounds.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He worked as a service technician for Edward Business Machines.
Bud is survived by 2 daughters, Jodi, wife of Frank Fuoti of Yorktown, VA, Lori, wife of Joe Arentz of Stevens; 5 grandchildren, Kirsten Fuoti, Kendal, wife of Patrick Walsh, Geoffrey, husband of Christina Arentz, Nolan, husband of Georgia Arentz, and Philip Arentz; 4 great-grandchildren, Henry and Harrison Walsh, Emerson Arentz, Haven Arentz; a brother, Rawlins Bausher of Arizona.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Raymond and Richard Bausher.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am, with Deacon James Lawson officiating. Interment will take place in the Fairview Cemetery, Shillington.
