Obituary for Paul S. Hollinger

Paul S. Hollinger, 85, of Stevens, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at home.

He was born in Lititz to the late Arthur and Susan (Snavely) Hollinger and was the husband of Eunice M. (Mack) Hollinger, with whom he would have shared 63 years of marriage this August 4th.

He was a member of Living Water Fellowship, Reinholds. He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, gardening, and reading.

Paul worked as a truck driver/salesman for Gehman Feed Mill, Inc. He also served as minister and bishop at various churches for 36 years prior to his retirement.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by 6 daughters, Carolyn A. Hollinger of Reinholds, Linda S., wife of Wilbur Hartranft, Jr. of Selingsgrove, Anna Mary, wife of Martin Layman of Cumberland, VA, Ruth Ann, wife of Jonas Zook of Womelsdorf, Lois M., wife of John Stauffer of Reinholds, and Susan J., wife of Ben Schrock of Cumberland, VA; 2 sons, Glenn D, husband of Romaine Hollinger of Ephrata, and Philip L., husband of Lisa Hollinger of Westminster, SC; 33 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a brother James, husband of Mae Hollinger of Myerstown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Hollinger.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, at Living Water Fellowship, 160 Chapel View Dr., Reinholds. An additional viewing will be held Monday, May 6th, from 9 to 10 am, at Faith Mennonite Fellowship, 335 North Line Road, Stevens. Funeral service will follow at 10 am. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
