Obituary for Patricia A. Rampolla
Patricia A. Rampolla, 85, of Wernersville, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Phoebe Berks Health Care Center.
She was born in Philadelphia to the late William and Carolyn E. (Gerstlauer) Dunn and was the wife of Nicholas Rampolla.
Patricia was a member of Mellingers Lutheran Church. Her family was the most important part of her life and she loved attending her grandchildren's activities. She also enjoyed camping and traveling to Ocean City, New Jersey, for family vacations.
Patricia worked for ELCO School District for 18 years prior to her retirement. Together with her husband, they built and operated the Cocalico Creek Campground for 33 years.
In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by 3 children, Nancy, wife of Dale Ehret of Collegeville, John Rampolla, husband of Annette of Lehigh County, and Susan, wife of Kenneth Ritter of Sinking Spring; 8 grandchildren, David Rampolla, husband of Amanda, Michael Rampolla, Nicholas Ehret, husband of Alysia, Elizabeth Ehret, Bradley, Quinn, Connor, and Bryce Ritter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Albert W. Dunn and sister Janet M. Applegate.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Mellingers Evangelical Lutheran Church, 80 Gockley Road, Schoeneck. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm, with Pastor Timothy L. Craven officiating. Interment will take place in the Mellingers Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patricia's memory may be made to Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
