Obituary for M. Louretta Rhodes
M. Louretta Rhodes, 78, of Denver, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.
She was born in Hannibal, MO to the late John David and Mary (Gosney) Yochum and was the wife of Gary Everett Rhodes, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.
She was a member of New Joy Brethren in Christ Church in Ephrata.
Louretta worked as a registered nurse for 33 years prior to her retirement.
In addition to her husband, Louretta is survived by 2 daughters, Kimberly, wife of Timothy Cranmer, and Michele Rhodes; grandson, Joshua (Angela) Cranmer, granddaughter, Lauren Cranmer, great-granddaughter, Adele Cranmer, sister, Ruth (Jim) Plummer, brother, David (Vara) Yochum, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, April 13th at the New Joy Brethren in Christ Church, 35 New Joy Drive, Ephrata, with Pastor Jeff Dunlevy officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
