Obituary for M. Dolores "Dolly" Long (Wenrich)
M. Dolores Long, 77, of Akron, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Hershey Medical Center.
She was born in Ephrata to the late Harvey and Dorothy (Sweigart) Wenrich and was the wife of the late Richard Long who passed away in 2014.
Dolores was a member of Mohler Church of the Brethren, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of Ladies Aid. She also worked at Martin's Country Market.
She is survived by two children, Douglas Long of Brownstown, Kimberly, wife of Michael Launi of Shoeneck; two grandchildren, Danielle, wife of Joshua Dietrich and Shaun Goshert; three great-grandchildren, Gavyn, Jordynn and Bryson; three brothers, Eugene, husband of Christine Wenrich of Ephrata, Robert, husband of Nancy Wenrich of Stevens and Ronald, husband of Judy Wenrich of Ephrata.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Wenrich.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Mohler Church of the Brethren, 21 E. Mohler Church Road, Ephrata, followed by funeral services at 1:00 PM with Pastor Carl Brubaker officiating. Interment will take place in Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery.
