Obituary for Linda Lee Rose (Wolf)

With profound sadness we announce the passing of our loving and devoted mother, Linda Lee Rose, 71, on December 22, 2020, after suffering a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

She was born on January 13, 1949, in Lancaster, PA, but lived the majority of her life in Manheim, PA. Her mother was Anna Mae Thompson (nee Anna Mae Houck), father Charles A. Wolf, Sr. and stepfather, Walter J. Thompson, who all preceded her in death. She was the wife of the late Benjamin W. Rose, Sr.

She is survived by her children, Matthew J. Sexton and his wife, Gail L. Sexton; Christine L. Sexton, Michael J. Sexton, and one step daughter Beth A. Rose; nine grandchildren including step grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters; three brothers; a step sister and three step brothers. Two step brothers also preceded her in death.

Linda was retired from R. R, Donnelly. She attended the Baptist Church. She enjoyed baking, having baking parties with family and friends; camping, gardening, dancing, reading and playing board games. Most of all she was devoted to her family. She was loving, kind, and gave to others. She was called “mom" by many people in Manheim who loved this amazing woman.

A celebration of life ceremony is to be determined.
