Obituary for Linda M. Allison (McCloskey)
Linda (McCloskey) Allison went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 5, 2022. She died in her sleep from an apparent heart attack.
She was born on December 13, 1943, in Altoona, PA. She served alongside her husband in ministry as well as working as an Executive Assistant in the pharmaceutical industry for over 30 years. Her interests included serving at her church, serving others, traveling, bible study, and being with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Alfred Allison; her sister, Marilee Neiswender; her three children, Lisa, Scott and Troy; son in law, Dave Walters; daughter in law, Rachel, and seven grandchildren, Austin, Brittany, Adam, Laura, Brayden, Aaron and Raegan.
She was predeceased in death by her parents, George and Anna McCloskey, and an infant sister, Barbara McCloskey.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, from 6 to 8 PM at Stradling Funeral Home, 30 North Ninth Street, Akron. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, 11:00 AM at the Stradling Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1168 Limekiln Pike, Ambler.
