Obituary for Leonette A. Lafleur (Dyal)
Leonette A. Lafleur, 60, of Akron, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at home.
She was born in Starke, FL, to the late Leo A. Dyal and Vera Mae (Mosley) Lefever and was the wife of Claude C. Lafleur.
Leonette worked in IT for various companies including Skynet Communications and South East Academy in Florida for many years, then, for Google and most recently for Cyber Warehouse. She loved watching her kids and grandkids grow.
In addition to her husband. Leonette is survived by her daughter, Vera D., wife of Brian D. Lacey; her son, Timithy L., husband of Heather Miles; four grandchildren, Shyann L. Lacey, Laine D. Lacey, Tristin Miles, Hazel Miles; a brother, Gregory Dyal; two step-brothers, Bill Lefever, Barry Lefever and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Isaac K. Lefever and a brother, Robert Dyal.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 6 to 8 PM at the Stradling Funeral Home, 30 North Ninth Street, Akron. An additional viewing will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 10 to 11 AM, at the Stradling Funeral Home, followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michael Roney officiating. Interment will take place in the Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Leonette's memory may be made to Adult Congenital Heart Association, 280 North Providence Road, Suite 6, Media, PA 19063.
