Obituary for LaDonna A. (Altstaetter) McRae
LaDonna Alieta (Altstaetter) McRae, 84, of Reinholds, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at her home.
She was born in Lansing, MI, to the late Charles Russell and Lucille (Taylor) Altstaetter and was the wife of the late Dr. Loren James McRae who passed away in 2014.
LaDonna was a graduate of the Detroit Bible College (William Tyndale College). A member of Ephrata Community Church, she was a missionary in Thailand from 1959-1975 and served in pastoral counseling for over 10 years after retirement. She enjoyed encouraging and walking with those in spiritual need.
LaDonna is survived by two daughters, Marilyn M. Wails, Sharon W. McRae-St.Iago; two sons, John S. McRae, and Billy G. McRae; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Leola Brennan.
Funeral services and interment were at the Mellingers Union Cemetery.
