I too have so many memories of Kenny and Jane Gayle Greg and Trina... And I can't forget Dutchie!!! That was a time that we'll never have again ...back in the day when neighbors were truly neighbors... our kitchen windows faced each other and we talked to each other through the window we even strung a string with the paper cups the way kids did back in the day to talk to one another... fun times playing hide and seek every night... Going to the playground every day... The one and only camping trip is the reason you couldn't give me any amount of money to go camping LOL... the boat motor that Dad and Kenny shared because neither one of us could afford to buy a motor so we took turns on the weekend renting a boat and sharing the motor... I could go on and on the Sweigart family will always hold dear memories in the Horst famiies' hearts... And I had the great pleasure of meeting Nancy who was the gift to Kenny I believe after he lost Jane.... Our prayers and sympathy go out to each and everyone of you.... Love Lee and Lynn Firestone

So Sorry to hear of the passing of Kenny. I have many wonderful memories of family times together as neighbors on North 9th St in Akron. Kenny, Jane, Gayle, Greg & Trina. So many stories we could tell. Daily play times on the front porch and walking to Akron Elementary school. And the camping trips...oh my!!! Kenny was the rock of the family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Lisa (Horst) Hocker
