Obituary for Jordan S. Pizzuto

Jordan S. Pizzuto "J-Bird", 27, of Denver, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 8, 2023 the day before his 28th birthday.

He was born in Reading on May 9th, 1995 to Todd R. Pizzuto and Stephanie R. (Martzall) Hertzog and was the fiancé of Hayley Gavlick.

A former member of Womelsdorf and Denver Fire Companies, Jordan was an avid Steelers fan and he loved woodworking, fishing, hunting, and going on family vacations to the Poconos. He cherished his son and family, and always had a way of making people laugh and smile.

Jordan was a graduate of Conrad Weiser High School and worked for Ingham's Powder Coating in Denver.

In addition to his parents, Jordan is survived by a son, Anthony J. Pizzuto; 3 step-sons, Kayden Gavlick, Neeko Medina, and Leo Medina; a sister, Champagne Hertzog (Zachary Dom); Stepfather Patrick Lemke Sr.; 2 step-brothers, Dane Stebakken and Patrick Lemke, Jr.; maternal grandfather, Stephen Martzall; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Pizzuto; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Susan Martzall, paternal grandfather, George Pizzuto, and an uncle, Jonathan Martzall.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jordan's memory may be made to Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver, PA 17517, to assist with funeral expenses.
