Obituary for John P. Richardson
John Paul “Richie” Richardson, age 91, husband of the late Ruth Lee (Epps) for 62 years, passed peacefully, Saturday, December 4, 2021, in Ephrata, PA. They resided in King of Prussia, PA, for 56 years.
He is survived by his children, Donald (Patti), Brian (Gina) and Lori (Frannie). Richie had seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Born November 22, 1930, in Boone, NC, he was one of nine children of the late Dell and Ella (Carroll) Richardson. A graduate of Appalachian High School, he served with the US Army Airborne Division during the Korean Conflict. He attended Appalachian State and Lees-McRae College. Richie was a self-employed contractor in the King of Prussia area and along with his passion for wood working and tool collection, he enjoyed hunting.

Services are to be held privately.
