Obituary for Jane F. Cunningham ((Freeman))
Jane F. Cunningham, 95, of Reinholds, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Reading Hospital- Tower Health.
She was born in Ephrata to the late Clarence and Marie (Gallagher) Freeman and was the wife of the late James S. Cunningham.
She was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for her whole life.
Jane was a waitress for the former Howard Johnson and Zinn's Diner. She loved Bingo and lottery tickets, and was a lifetime member of the Cushion Peak Rod & Gun Club. She also enjoyed crocheting and making blankets for people, including the Lebanon VA Hospital.
Jane is survived by two children, David F., husband of Deborah Cunningham of Denver, Darlene Koehn, fiancée of Craig Etchberger of Sinking Spring; nine grandchildren, Keith Cunningham, Jessie Cunningham, Zachary Koehn, Tyler Koehn, Samantha (Dennis) Hiester, Samantha Etchberger, Dillon (Amanda) Lorditch, Tyler (Janelle) Lorditch, Brianna (Trevor) Fake; five great-grandchildren and two sisters, Betty Gruber, Margaret "Peg" Texter.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Heath Cunningham; a brother, Bill Freeman, and a sister, Patricia Bauman.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 9 to 11 AM at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver, followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Bradley Haws officiating. Interment will take place in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Jane's great niece, Bobbi Jo Rogo, the staff at ProMedica Hospice and the nurses at Reading Hospital T-5, for all the help, support and love during this trying time.
