Obituary for Jan F. Brossman

Jan F. Brossman, 66, of Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

He was born in Ephrata to the late William B. and Fern E. (Furlow) Brossman and was the husband of Jennifer L. (Sensenig) Brossman with whom he celebrated 34 years of marriage on February 8th.

He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Akron.

Jan was a supervisor and an installer for D and E Phone Company before retiring. He was a graduate of Ephrata High School, class of 1970, and attended John F. Kennedy College in Nebraska. He loved Disney, jigsaw puzzles and tinkering. He was an A+ organizer and a Phillies and Eagles fan.

In addition to his wife, Jan is survived by four sons, Corey L., husband of Holly (Summers) Lehman, Jared S. Lehman, both of Ephrata, Nicholas J. Brossman of Harrisburg, Benjamin T. Brossman, also of Ephrata; a daughter, Elizabeth B., wife of Christopher Sayres of Ephrata; 12 grandchildren and two brothers, William F. Brossman of Ephrata, Bryan F. Brossman of Newmanstown.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019, 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 105 N. 11th Street, Akron, with Pastor Glenda Machia officiating. Interment will be private in the Mt. Zion Evangelical Cemetery.
