Obituary for James F. Westwood Sr.
James F. Westwood, Sr., 82, of Lititz, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.
He was born in Philipsburg to the late James F. and Anna Mae (Woodring) Westwood and was the husband of Marjorie M. (Shope) Westwood with whom he celebrated 63 years of marriage on February 18, 2019
He was a member of Hope United Methodist Church.
James was an inspector for the PA State Department of Agriculture. He loved his family and enjoyed hunting, bowling and traveling.
In addition to his wife, James is survived by a daughter, Laura L. Wettlaufer; two sons, James, F. Jr., husband of Vicki Westwood, Mark L., husband of Maureen Westwood; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Genevieve, Louise, Ellie and Mary Ann.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019, from 5 to 6 PM at the Stradling Funeral Home, 30 North Ninth Street, Akron, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM with John and Cathy Wettlaufer officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
