Obituary for Jacqueline L. Witman (Beck)

Jacqueline L. Witman, 88, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.

She was born in Reamstown to the late Milton and Mary "Mammy" (Keith) Beck. She was the wife of the late Clyde H. "Red" Witman with whom she shared 48 years of marriage before his passing in 2006.

Jacqueline was a Latin teacher for Stroudsburg High School and later, East Stroudsburg High School. She was a graduate of Ephrata High School and Millersville State Teachers College. She enjoyed playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles and watching the Game Show Network and Turner Classic Movies.

Jacqueline is survived by two sons, Keith Witman of Ephrata, Mitchell Witman of San Francisco, CA and two brothers, Milton, husband of Elaine Beck of Brownstown and Gary Beck of Ephrata.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce B. Rutt and a brother, Floyd Beck.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Pleasant View Cemetery.
