Obituary for Gordon W. Eaby
Gordon W. Eaby, 92, of Stevens, formerly of Akron, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020, at The Gardens at Stevens.
He was born in New Holland to the late Charles E. and Grace S. (Welsh) Eaby and was the husband of Gloria V. (Frankhouser) Eaby who passed away in 2012.
He was a member of Reamstown Church of God.
Gordon was an auto mechanic for 23 years before retiring. He was a veteran of the US Army and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Gordon is survived by a daughter, Debra M. Newton of Hamilton, TX; two brothers, Harry Eaby of Akron, Paul, husband of Mary Eaby of Mt. Gretna; three sisters, Gladys, wife of Leon Gehman of Ephrata, Fern Hailey of Lancaster, Mabel, wife of Ken Musser; two grandchildren; Yvonne and Isaac and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie L. Sheaffer and two brothers, George Eaby, Charles Eaby.
Interment will be private at Bergstrasse Lutheran Cemetery.
