Obituary for Gloria Varner (Loose)
Gloria Loose Varner, 92, of Ephrata, formerly of Denver, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at Ephrata Manor, where she lived for the past seven years.
She was born in Rome to the late Clarence and Eva (Nagle) Loose and was the wife of the late John Harold Varner who passed away in 2009.
Gloria was a bar tacker for Hopeland Manufacturing. She enjoyed baking and cooking and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Gloria is survived by four children, David, husband of Linda (Swalm) Varner of Jonestown, Gerald, husband of Shirley (Beam) Varner of Cape Vincent, NY, Pamela (Varner) Fehr of Reinholds, Gary, husband of Darlene (Nolt) Varner of Reinholds; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one-great-great-grandchild and a brother, Richard, husband of Elizabeth Loose of Bernville.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020, at 2:00 PM at the Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery, 319 Wabash Road, Ephrata.
