Obituary for Georgia Mae Klesko

Georgia Mae Klesko, 90, of Denver, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019, at The Harrison House in Christiana.

She was born in Johnstown to the late Sherman and Pauline (Shanaberger) McLucas.

Georgia was a member of East Cocalico Church of the Brethren, Reamstown. She held various job positions over the years. Prior to her retirement she worked as a nurse's aid.

Georgia is survived by 3 children, Janet Klesko, Fran Benfield, and John Zabrucki (Michelle Capuro); 5 grandchildren, Matthew and Nathan Benfield, Olivia, Greyson and Peyton Zabrucki; 3 great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Nikolaus and Wyatt Benfield; a brother, Sherman McLucas, and sister, Patty Reyes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Peter Klesko; son, Peter "Butch" Klesko, daughter, Cindy Klesko; 6 siblings, Alma Mishler, Dorothy Maslanka, Betty Lou Swain, William McLucas, Jerry McLucas, and Florence Tepper.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019, from 2 to 3 pm at the East Cocalico Church of the Brethren, 4 Bunker Hill Road, Reamstown. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm, with Pastor Steve Hess officiating. Interment will be private, at the convenience of the family, in the Maple Springs Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Holsopple, PA.
