Obituary for Gary L. Hacker
Gary L. Hacker, 71, of Akron, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.
He was born in Ephrata to Robert L. Hacker and the late Rosalyn F. (Martin) Rice.
Gary was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching game shows. He also enjoyed all sports and was a fan of all the Philadelphia teams.
He worked for General Food, White Plains, NY and prior to his retirement he worked for Turkey Hill.
In addition to his father, Gary is survived by step-mom, Susan Hacker; step-dad, Donald Rice; sisters, Kathi, wife of Tommy Niner, Beth Thompson, wife of Jennifer; nephews and niece, Jordan and Alex Southard, Dillon Jean-Luc, Brianna Gallic; partner, Christine Weaver; and his pet dog, Reese.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
