Obituary for Frank R. Haus, Jr.
Frank R. Haus, Jr., 89, of Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.
He was born in Lancaster County to the late Frank R. Haus and was the husband of Alina B. (Baczyk) Haus with whom he shared 66 years of marriage.
He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, Ephrata, American Legion, Ephrata, and was an avid Ham radio operator.
Frank served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as a concrete technical service manager for Kurtz Bros. Corp. and Terre Hill Concrete Products.
In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by 3 sons, Christopher, husband of Dana Haus of Ephrata, Jere, husband of Teri Haus of Moorsville, NC, and Mark Haus of Lawrenceburg, TN; and 2 grandchildren, Spencer and Danielle.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 11 am, at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, 319 Wabash Rd., Ephrata. Military honors will be accorded by the Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard.
