In her younger years she participated in many local golf tournaments and women’s leagues. She loved golfing vacations with some of her favorite courses being in Palm Springs California, Bermuda and Scotland.
For a time, Fae was a Friendly visitor with the County Office of Aging and a driver for residents of Friendship Community. Fae was a long time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Akron, PA where she served on many committees, ushered, and taught Sunday school. For many years she also served on the Kitchen Committee at her church’s monthly food pantry. Fae was also a charter member of the Akron Women’s Civic Club.
Fae is survived by her four children, Terry W. Reber (Susan) of Lititz, Tina L. Enck (Kenton) of Akron, Thomas A. Reber (Nancy) of Ephrata, and Troy N. Reber (Connie) of Akron, six grandchildren, Lisa Stauffer, Ryan Enck, Tyler Reber, Kylie Salem, Emmy Martin, Trent Reber, and eight great-grandchildren.

Reber, Jr. and the following brothers: Roy and James who both died in infancy, Harry of Lancaster, Ralph of Stevens, Gordon of Middletown, Clair of Ephrata, and Arthur of Manheim. A Memorial Service will be held at 9 AM, Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church, 435 Main Street, Akron, PA 17501. The family will greet visitors in the church’s social hall at the conclusion of the service.
