Obituary for Eva H. Zimmerman
Eva H. Zimmerman, 90, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
She was born in New Holland to the late David and Lizzie (Horning) Burkholder and was the wife of the late Aaron N. Zimmerman.
She is survived by four sons, Paul, husband of Geraldine (Hoover) Zimmerman of Bernville, Earl, husband of Brenda (Martin) Zimmerman of Lititz, Marvin, husband of Karen (Hurst) Zimmerman of Oakland Mills, Aaron Ray, husband of Chani (Kassier) Zimmerman of Lititz; five daughters, Vera, wife of Allen Zimmerman of Lititz, Alta, wife of Edward Lehman of Newmanstown, Ruth, wife of Carl Zimmerman of New Holland, Eva Mae, wife of Marlin Oberholtzer of Ephrata, Elva, wife of Raymond Hurst of Lititz; 48 grandchildren; 86 great-grandchildren and a sister, Katie H., wife of Rufus Martin of Mifflinburg.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers; six sisters and two grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 5 to 8 PM, at Midway Mennonite Reception Center, 210 E. Lexington Road, Lititz. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 9:30 AM, at Meadow Valley Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference, 200 Meadow Valley Road, Ephrata. Interment will follow at the adjoining church cemetery.
