Obituary for Eleanor G. Pannebecker (Fasnacht)
Eleanor G. Pannebecker, 90, of Stevens, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019, at her home.
She was born in West Cocalico Township to the late Phares and Lillie (Getz) Fasnacht and was the wife of the late Alvin Pannebecker who passed away in 1990.
Eleanor was a member of Mellingers Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stevens. During her working years, she was a seamstress for W.W. Moyer Company. She enjoyed playing cards, word search, crocheting, watching tv and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Eleanor is survived by a daughter, Brenda E. Sweigart of Fleetwood; three sons, Brian E., husband of Danielle (Roberts) Pannebecker of Newmanstown, Dennis L., husband of Vicki (Dissinger) Pannebecker of Stevens, Russell P., husband of Tammy (Latshaw) Pannebecker; 11 grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; 22 great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Wingenroth; two sons-in-law, Robert Wingenroth, Robert Sweigart and a sister, Bertha Fasnacht.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2019, from 10 to 11am, at Mellingers Evangelical Lutheran Church, 80 Gockley Road, Stevens, followed by her funeral service at 11 am, with Pastor Timothy L. Craven officiating. Interment will take place in Mellingers Union Cemetery.
