Obituary for Edna Ditzler
Edna Mae Ditzler, 88, of Robesonia, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at home.
She was born in South Heidelberg Township to the late William E. and Mary Elsie (Sweigart) Ulrich and was the wife of the late Wayne L. "Peepe" Ditzler who passed away in 2006.
She was a member of Vinemont Community Lutheran Church. She enjoyed camping, the beach, and loved her grandchildren.
Edna worked for Berkshire Knitting Mills, Ko-Ka-Le-Ko Egg Ranch, and Weaver Markets before retiring in 2015.
Edna is survived by 3 children, Terry L., husband of Roseanne Ditzler of Reinholds, Sharon A. Strohl of Reinholds, and Donna M., wife of David E. Noll of Robesonia; 3 grandchildren, Mindy Snyder of Denver, Bethany M. (Noll), wife of Matthew Weaver of Robesonia, and Austin D. Noll of Robesonia; 3 great-grandchildren, Zachary S., husband of Sara Snyder, Emily Snyder, and Allison Snyder all of Denver.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 4 siblings, Isaac Ulrich, William Ulrich, Katie Johnston, and Viola Gerhart.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, 11:00 am at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring, with Rev. Abera Hellemo officiating.
