Obituary for Dori Ann Sporre (Rudy)
Dori Ann Sporre, 57, of Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at Wellspan York Hospital.
She was born in Ephrata to Dorothy Mae (Griffith) Rudy and the late Elias D. Rudy and was the wife of Barrett L. Sporre with whom she shared 15 years of marriage.
In her early years, she attended Evangel Assembly of God, Ephrata.
Dori was a notary for Luzerne County. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and cross-stitch. She also enjoyed baking, doing crossword puzzles and rescuing dogs, especially her dog, Emma.
In addition to her husband, and mother, Dori is survived by a sister, Darla Mae, wife of Daniel R. Pilcher of Westerville, OH and a brother, Jeffrey D., husband of Julie A. (Williams) Rudy of Akron.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
