Obituary for Donna Darlene Underhill
Donna Darlene Underhill, 70, of Ephrata, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.
She was born in Hazleton to the late Steve R. and Marrianne (Finley) Dvorshak and was the lifetime friend and partner of Joe Carbo of Ephrata.
Donna was a homemaker and a caretaker to her daughter a special needs person. She was formerly from Somerville NJ -Newark De- and Maxton NC. Donna moved to Ephrata to help take care of her mother Marrianne.and acted as her caregiver until her death in 2012. She soon found a home amongst the friendly Amish people that also live there. Donna enjoyed canning and would often trade her goods with the community . She lived a quiet life, content with caring for her daughter Jessica and fishing in the many lakes around Ephrata.
She is survived by a daughter, Jessica Underhill of Ephrata; a brother, Steve Dvorshak of Cranbury, NJ; step-sisters, Rose Schutz, Robyn Dottery both of Quakertown, Irene Wenhold of Trumbauersville, Catherine Williams of Center Valley and Diane Luscher of Kentwood, MI.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
