Obituary for Donald Lee "Don" Rudy
Donald "Don" Lee Rudy, 68, of Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at home.
He was born in Ephrata to the late R. Rodney Rudy and Helen J. (Martin) Whitmeyer.
Don worked for Sensenig Roofing for over 30 years. He was a devoted Philly sports fan and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed going out to eat and cherished time spent with family. In earlier years he was an avid golfer and bowler.
Don is survived by his daughter, Tiffany, wife of Christian Kaiser of Lancaster; two grandsons, Derrick Ulrich, Devin Ulrich; his brother, Jerry M. Rudy of Myerstown, and a family friend, Davis Ulrich.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Paul E. Whitmeyer.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, from 1 to 2 PM at Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Avenue, Ephrata, followed by funeral services at 2:00 PM with Pastor Larry Kipp officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Don's memory may be made to the American Heart Association-Lancaster Division, 4250 Crums Mill Road, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA, 17112.
