I have been honored and privileged to have known Claude and Dee for many years. Their compassion, love for helping people, and gentle spirits have been an inspiration to me and so many others. Even when their journeys were difficult and plagued by uncertainty and illness...they always put others' needs above their own. Claude was a valuable and dedicated volunteer for the Keystone Military Families Stockings for Soldiers program, cutting out over 6,000 stockings in the 6 years he was involved with the project. God Bless you Claude. Thank you for being the role model and friend of a lifetime!

I was on the same football team as Claude at Ephrata High School during the only undefeated season in Ephrata football history. His strength and agility as fullback were simply breathtaking. In addition to being a wonderful teammate, he was a wonderful friend. Claude taught me how to play the guitar and we performed at a few assemblies in school singing country western ("hillbilly") songs. l live in Florida, but we reconnected a few years ago and exchanged correspondences. When I complimented him yet again about his legendary local football status, he modestly gave all the credit to his offensive line: "You could have driven a truck through those holes they opened". That perfectly captures the character of this modest, caring, generous man.

Dee, Debbie, Dan and family : I will always remember the times our cousins spent with you, Claude, Diane and family during our little summer visits. Claude was a wonderful man and great human being. We will all miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. I just wish that I could hit a golf ball the way he did. Take care. We are with you.
Love always,
