Obituary for Beverly Lorraine Campbell (Charles)
Beverly Lorraine Campbell, 89, of Ephrata, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021, at Wyomissing Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Conestoga to the late Milton and Helen (Corrigan) Charles.
She was a member of Green Hill United Methodist Church, Safe Harbor, and superintendent of children's Sunday school.
Beverly worked in the accounting department of Sea Crest Surf and Racquet Club in Hilton Head, SC, for 15 years, and previously was a medical assistant for Dr. Harvey Lehman in Millersville. She was a graduate of Penn Manor High School. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and following current events. In her younger years she loved the beach.
Beverly is survived by two daughters, Vicki H. Thornton of Ephrata, Connie A. Hall of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Jessica, wife of Jason Bryant, Jason Gabriel, Erich, husband of Colleen Hall; two great-grandchildren, Aaliya, wife of Jordi Rios Serna, Austin Bryant; a brother, Richard Charles, husband of Elaine of Willow Street; a sister, Patricia, wife of Melvin Witmer of Hilton Head Island, SC and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Berneda Greider; a sister, Shaaron Charles; a brother, James Charles and a son-in-law, James W. Hall.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family in the Green Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Safe Harbor.
