Obituary for Betty Jane Boyer
Betty Jane (Selig) Boyer, 85, of Lancaster, formerly of Denver, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019, at ManorCare Health Services, Lancaster.
She was born in Reading and was the wife of the late Lester P. "Smiley" Boyer who died in 1996.
Betty attended Swamp Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading, cooking and volunteering.
In the early years she worked for Ephrata Area Social Services.
Betty is survived by numerous children she cared for over the years, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 2:00 pm at the Millbach Community Cemetery, with Rev. Dennis L. Trout officiating.
