Obituary for Barry Hayes
Barry Hayes, 69, of Ephrata, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022.
He was born in Philadelphia to the late Robert and Ida (Shields) Hayes and was the husband of Patricia Hayes.
Barry had worked as a sterile processing technician. He loved music and especially enjoyed writing it as well. Barry took pride in playing the guitar and keyboard with various bands locally.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Adria (Nikki) Hayes, wife of Hakim Heath of Wilmington, DE; a grandchild, Nazim; siblings, Barbara (Hayes) Ballard, Arnez Hayes and Paris and Antoinette (Toni) Hayes; cousins; nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Hayes.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, at Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Avenue, Ephrata, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebration at 11:00 AM at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 320 Church Avenue, Ephrata, with The Rev. Father John Murray C.SS.R. as celebrant. Final Commendation and Farewell will be private at the convenience of the family.
