Obituary for Albert Ronald Trimble Sr.
Albert Ronald Trimble, Sr., 99, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019, at Ephrata Manor.
He was born in Blairsville, PA to the late Albert C. and Minnie (Luchsinger) Trimble and was the husband of the late LaRue (Rosensteele) Trimble who passed away in 2010.
Albert was an engineer for Koppers Inc. for 40 years. He was a veteran of the US Army Corps of Engineers serving as a Major during World War II. He graduated from Carnegie Tech in 1941.
Albert is survived by two sons, A. Ronald "Ron" Trimble, Jr. of Denver, CO, Kerry L., husband of Kathe (Dover) Trimble of Lititz; four grandchildren, Maggie, wife of David Alcala of Norfolk, VA, Dustin, husband of Jessica Trimble of Mt. Joy, Zachary Trimble of Lititz, Amber, wife of Michael Penn of Westminster, CO; five great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Charlotte Roberts of Oregon.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at 1:30 PM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Indiantown Gap Road, Annville.
