Obituary for Sarah E. Lance (Elliott)
Sarah Elisabeth Lance, 44, of Ephrata,PA passed away peacefully at Wellspan York Hospital, on Monday, March 21, 2022, following an unexpected illness. Born on January 04, 1978, in Reading, PA, she was the eldest daughter of Robin Heuyard, companion of Johann Rynhod, Ephrata, PA and Mark Elliott, husband of Lizanne, Elverson, PA.
Sarah was a 1996 graduate of Ephrata Senior High School. She was employed as a Program Coordinator at Friendship Community. Sarah had a great love for people and her joy in life was taking care of others. Sarah will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her contagious laugh, and her calming spirit.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her four beautiful children, Megan and Jared Weaver and Alicia and Nathan Carpenter all of Ephrata, PA, her sisters, Carrie Emerich wife of Jeffrey, Robesonia, PA, Rebecca Braswell, wife of Chris, Oxford, GA; her brothers, Shane Hails, husband of McKenzie, Elverson, PA, Neil Hails, husband of Amber of Pottstown, PA and Cody Hails, husband of Veronica, Kenhorst, PA. Sarah is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews, a great niece and a great nephew.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm at Stradling Funeral Home, 30 N. 9th Street, Akron, followed by a memorial service at 3:30 pm.
