Lisa Jane Newcomer, 35, of Pensacola, FL, formerly of Ephrata, PA, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014, in Florida as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

Born in Seoul, Korea, she was the daughter of Jon and Patricia (Miles) Newcomer.

She worked as a Sterile Processing Technician at Lancaster General Hospital (Lancaster, PA) followed by employment as an On-site Endoscopic Specialist at Georgetown University Hospital (Washington, DC). She then relocated to Florida in 2013 and became a Traveling Sterile Processing Supervisor at Holy Cross Hospital (Ft. Lauderdale) and Sacred Heart Hospital (Pensacola). Lisa enjoyed fashion, music, traveling as well as volunteering and helping others.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Robin, wife of Jeffrey Rapp of Wernersville and a nephew, Devon Rapp.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014, from 9 to 10 am, at the Stradling Funeral Home, 30 N. 9th St., Akron, followed by her memorial service at 10 am. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
