Condolence: To the family of my best buddy,
I feel so blessed that our lives crossed paths, and was very saddened at Ron’s passing. I know he is in a much better place than this fallen world. We met in my grandmother’s Sunday school class as youngsters and were quite the rounders! But she knew how to make us tow the line. That was the beginning of a friendship that endured over 90+ years. Many stories evolved during our careers. The funniest (and Ron’s favorite) was the rubber hot dog joke he played on me at a church picnic! The most memorable event occurred on March 8, 1942. Ronnie loved to drive my red Plymouth convertible. As we drove that day I met my future wife, Dottie, who was out for a stroll with my sister, Bev. We offered them a ride. Dottie turned out to be my soulmate for 68 years. Ron and I had two different passions. He was a radio/electronics genius;I loved planes and flying. Our military tours we split between Army and Navy. We would have made a great team. Ron will always be my forever friend and buddy. I know we will meet again. TSGT Jimmy (Dick) Lewis (ret.)

Condolence: My deepest condolences to the Frisbie family. I hope it brings you comfort knowing others were touched by him and have specia memories of him. Ron was a wonderful man, who was very generous with sharing his time and his expertise. I met Ron through the Millersville University Science Lectureship committee. He and Jan graciously opened their home to me and some of my students who had selected the importance of radio communication in the 1930s as their National History Day project. Through the years I made other visits to Ron and his museum with friends and family. He was always a delight and his love of radios was very contagious! He will be missed by many. Rest in peace, Ron.

Condolence: To the Frisbie Family:
My wife and I were deeply sorry to read about Ron’s passing. Ron was a gentleman of the highest order and a good friend to all. He and I played saxophone with the Sound of Roses Big Band both joining the Big Band in 1980. As a science alumnus of Millersville University, and as a pioneer in the inception of the MU Science Lectureship, I had a common interest with Ron in the promotion of science education at MU. Please accept our sincere and deepest sympathy at this difficult time. May your inner strength help you cope with these difficult circumstances. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Rest in Peace, Ron Frisbie.

Condolence: I got to know Ron thru Tom Ehrhart several years ago. We toured his "backyard" Radio Collection and we both enjoyed discussing Radio and its history as I was also involved for about 50 years including RCA Lancaster. I am truly impressed with Ron's Career and deep involvement. May God continue to bless Ronald and his Family. I am certain that Ron will also collect Radios and related Equipment in Heaven.

Condolence: I always enjoyed opportunities to talk with Ron at the AWA conferences. He was always the gentleman, willing to listen as well as share his insights... Was delighted to see his home museum in July 2001 along with my best friend, the late Ernie Hite and his son. Ron insisted on treating us to a great lunch at a local 'home grown' restaurant. And I have pictures to prove it! His enthusiasm for vintage radio history will be missed.

Condolence: What a great and memorable man. We were touched by Ron beginning in the late 1990's when we arrived to work at D&E.
Ron was well known worldwide in the antique radio interest group and maintained a marvelous collection of radio memorabilia.
Rest well Ron and enter the gates of glory with rejoicing and hope.
It's been our pleasure to have known you.

Condolence: I had the great fortune to first meet Mr. Frisbie a few years ago when I was new to Royer Pharmacy-Akron where he was a regular client. Without exception, he always wore a smile as he spoke of his Radio museum, a beautiful day, or just his "lucky-to-be-alive" attitude. The sad news of his passing is surpassed only be fond memories of this true Gentleman. Thank you Ron - rest easy.

Condolence: We have known Ron since the mid 1980's, where we met him through his hobby of collecting radios. Ron was the kindest and most caring collector we have ever met.
I know he is at peace now with his loving wife Jan and is probably conversing with Mr. Marconi about the invention of wireless.
