Obituary for Leon B. Sensenig

Leon B.  Sensenig
Leon B. Sensenig, 79, of Manheim, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, January 22, 2018.

He was born in Ephrata to the late Allen K. and Anna M. (Burkholder) Sensenig and was the husband of Alayne (Yeakley) Sensenig with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.

He attended LCBC, Manheim, and was formerly a deacon and usher for Evangel Assembly of God.

Leon was formerly the owner of Blue Bell Mobile Home Park, manager of A to Z Vacuum in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, owner of the Denver Shoe store and previously worked for Burkholder Paving. He enjoyed farming, attending church and dining out with family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Leon is survived by 2 sons, Robert A., husband of Marlene (Fernandez) Sensenig of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Joseph L., husband of Melissa (White) Sensenig of Carrollton, GA; 2 granddaughters, Tatianna, wife of Doug Ogden of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Maggie Sensenig of Carrollton, GA; a great-granddaughter, Marina Ogden and 5 siblings, Lester B. Sensenig of IN, Lloyd B. Sensenig of Ephrata, Irene, wife of Walter Shirk of Ephrata, Clair, husband of Linda Sensenig of Akron, Linda, wife of Ray Weaver of Terre Hill.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018, from 5 to 8PM at the Hammer Creek Mennonite Church, 590 Hammer Creek Road, Lititz. An additional viewing will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, at the church, followed by funeral services at 10:30 AM with Pastor Arnold Wheatley officiating. Interment will take place in the Hammer Creek Mennonite Cemetery.
