Obituary for Milton N. Sensenig

Milton N. Sensenig, 76, of 123 Martindale Road, Ephrata, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.

He was born in Gordonville, PA, Leacock Township, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Nolt) Sensenig and was the husband of the late Susan W. (Brubaker) Sensenig.

He was a member of Pequea Mennonite Church.

Milton was in construction most of his life. He enjoyed talking with people and was friendly to everyone he met.

Milton is survived by 6 children, Mary Sue (Sensenig), married to Carl N. Martin of NY, Ruth Ann Sensenig at home, John C., married to Angela (Lapp) Sensenig of Ephrata, Leon D., married to Mary Esther (Hoover) Sensenig of Newmanstown, Esther Mae (Sensenig), married to Joel Martin of Lititz, Jason L., married to Kristy (Landers) Sensenig of Stevens; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Noah N., husband of Esther (Weaver) Sensenig of Quarryville, John N., husband of Pauline (Weaver) Sensenig of Nottingham, Melvin N., husband of Pheobe Ann (Wenger) Sensenig of East Earl; 7 sisters, Anna, wife of Titus W. Burkholder of Gordonville, Barbara, wife of the late Paul Hursh of Lititz, Ruth, wife of the late Paul Hoover of Myerstown, Frances, wife of Harlan Martin of New Holland, Evelyn Snyder of Ephrata, Verna, wife of Leon Burkholder of Ephrata, Esther, wife of Lloyd Fox of East Earl and 2 brother-in-laws, Harlan Weaver of Manheim, Ellis Martin of Lititz.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mary Etta Weaver, Erma Martin; a brother, David Sensenig and a sister-in-law, Betty L. (Moyer) Sensenig.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Farm Crest Chapel at Fairmount Homes, 1100 Farm Crest Drive, Ephrata, PA, 17522. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017, at 10:00 AM at Pequea Mennonite Church, Redwell Road, New Holland, with Bishop Curvin Zimmerman officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
