Obituary for Melanie G. Sauder

Melanie G.  Sauder
Melanie G. Sauder, 60, of Akron, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at home.

She was born in Lancaster to the late Robert and Kathleen L. (Patterson) Frymyer and was the wife of Melvin E. Sauder, Jr. with whom she shared 9 years of marriage.

Melanie was a salesperson for the party division of Eagle Rentals. She was dedicated to her family. She loved gardening, motorcycle rides and reading.

In addition to her husband, Melanie is survived by 2 daughters, Renee M., wife of Stephen Zimmerman of Ephrata, Nicole J., wife of Ricky Tapias of York, a step-son, Gregory S. Sauder of Narvon; 4 grandchildren, McKenzie, Cohen, Joey, Brenna; a brother, Terry Frymyer of Ephrata and 2 sisters, Diane, wife of Ted Stehman of Arnot, Deborah, wife of Dr. Theodore Croll of Doylestown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Amanda Sauder.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017, 11:00 AM, at the Ephrata Church of the Brethren, 201 Crescent Ave, Ephrata, with Pastor Rob Eshelman officiating. Family will receive friends following the service. Interment will be private in the Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Melanie's memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P. O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA, 17604.
