Betty L. Himelright, 88

Mrs. Himelright lived most of her life in the Ephrata and Lincoln areas. Himelright worked at Hamilton Watch. In 1997, she retired from Galen's of Ephrata. She was employed 45 years at Galen's, where she worked in the office area and was postmistress at the substation post office.

Himelright attended the New Beginnings Grace Brethren Church of Myerstown.

She was the daughter of the late Irvin and Martha (Mummert) Wise and step-mother, Nancy Annie (Yoder) Wise and was the wife of the late Carl F. Himelright who passed away in 1999.

She is survived by sister, Olene Beiler of Ephrata and nieces and nephews. Betty enjoyed playing the organ and took pride in her home. She loved the Lord and was always ready to encourage people.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017, from 1 to 2 PM, at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Avenue, Ephrata, followed by funeral services at 2 PM, with Pastor Keith Shearer officiating. Interment will take place in the Bergstrasse Lutheran Cemetery.
