Obituary for William W. Stauffer

William W. Stauffer, 87, of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.

He was born in West Earl Twp. to the late Jacob S. and Magdalena (Wenger) Stauffer and was the husband of Mary (Stauffer) Stauffer and the late Elva (Martin) Stauffer and the late Minnie (Sensenig) Stauffer.

He was a member of Stauffer Mennonite Church.

William retired from Big Dutchman, formally Favorite Manufacturing.

In addition to his wife, William is survived by 4 children, Robert (Grace) Stauffer of New Holland, Marlene (Titus) Brubacker of Ephrata, Clyde (Pricilla) Stauffer of Port Trevorton, Delores (Ray) Brubacker of Ephrata; 26 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; a sister, Magdalena (Donald) Wenrich of Mohnton, 2 sisters-in-law, Arlene Stauffer of Bainbridge, OH and Mary Stauffer of Ephrata.

In addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by 2 infant children, Charles and Minerva; a granddaughter, Darla Brubacker; 4 brothers, Paul, Ivan, Jacob and Mahlon and 7 sisters, MaryAnn, Pricilla, Sarah, Susanna, Martha, Rachel and Miriam.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the late residence, 2011 Division Highway, Ephrata, PA 17522. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at 9:00 AM at the late residence with further services at 9:30 AM from the Stauffer Mennonite Church, 2530 Division Highway, Ephrata. Interment will take place in the adjoining church Cemetery.
